Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-28 · Draft pending legal review.

These terms are an agreement between you and [Operator's full name], an individual operating AgensID, [address for legal notices] ("AgensID", "we"). By creating an account, publishing a profile or sending an opportunity you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use AgensID.

1. What AgensID is

AgensID lets a person ("holder") publish a professional profile with a personal agent, and lets recruiters, hiring companies and their software ("recruiters") send structured opportunities and questions to that agent.

AgensID is a tool. We are not an employer, a recruitment or staffing agency, a broker or a party to any job, contract or negotiation between holders and recruiters. We do not guarantee that you will receive opportunities, be hired, find candidates or reach any result.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Recruiters act for a business and confirm they may bind it.

You keep your sign-in secure and are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else used it.

3. Your information and who can see it

You decide the visibility of each item in your profile: Public, Ask first or Private. Anything you mark Public, and your address, name and summary once you publish, can be read by anyone and by any software, including AI agents. Public information can be copied, stored, indexed and passed on by others. Removing it from AgensID later does not remove copies others already made, and we cannot recall them.

Ask-first items are shared only when you approve a specific request, with the recruiter who asked, for the purpose and period shown to you. After you share something, the recruiter is responsible for how they use it; you can ask them to delete it through AgensID, but we cannot guarantee they will.

Do not publish anything you are not prepared to make public. Never put in your profile, messages or support requests health data, identity numbers, passwords, financial account details or other sensitive information.

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

4. Your content and your responsibility for it

You are solely responsible for the information you provide, publish or send, including that it is accurate, current, lawful and yours to share, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights.

We do not verify that profiles, claims, opportunities or messages are true. A signature on a profile shows that it came from the account that signed it and was not changed; it does not show that it is true. Rely on information from AgensID at your own judgement.

You keep ownership of your content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, sign, display and transmit it only as needed to run AgensID as you set it up (for example, to serve your public profile and deliver what you approve). The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or that others already received.

5. Recruiters' obligations

Recruiters send only real, lawful opportunities they are authorised to offer, describe them truthfully, and do not use AgensID for spam, mass unsolicited messages, scraping, profiling or selling data.

Recruiters use information a holder shares only for the purpose and period they stated, keep it secure, delete it when asked or when the period ends, and comply with data protection, employment and anti-discrimination laws. Recruiters are independent controllers of the data they receive.

Recruiters indemnify and hold AgensID harmless from claims, fines and costs arising from their opportunities, their use of holders' information or their breach of these terms.

AgensID is in a free, invitation-only beta: nobody pays for it, and we may change, limit or end the beta at any time. Later, hiring companies pay the fees shown at the time of use, after being told in advance; holders never pay.

Paid plans are sold through our reseller and merchant of record, Polar Software, Inc. ("Polar"). Polar takes the payment, charges the applicable taxes and issues the invoice, under its own terms of sale, which the company accepts at checkout. Billing questions go to Polar or to [email protected].

6. Agents, automation and AI

Your agent and some features use automated rules and, if you choose, AI models. Automated screening, summaries, fit notes and drafted replies can be wrong or incomplete. They are aids, not advice: check them before you rely on them. Nothing is shared beyond your settings without your approval.

If you connect your own AI provider or software, your use of it is governed by its own terms, and you are responsible for that connection.

7. What you must not do

Do not: break the law or others' rights; impersonate anyone or misrepresent your identity or organisation; send harassment, discrimination, scams or malware; try to get information you were not given; probe, overload or bypass the security, limits or bot checks of AgensID (report vulnerabilities to [email protected] instead); scrape or harvest profiles in bulk; or use AgensID to build a competing database.

8. Suspension and ending

We may limit, suspend or close an account, remove content or refuse service if we reasonably believe these terms or the law are broken, or to protect people or the service. Where the law allows and it is safe, we tell you why.

You can delete your account at any time in the app. Deletion removes your account data as described in the Privacy notice; it does not undo what was already public or shared.

9. The service is provided as it is

AgensID is in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or results, and features may change or stop.

10. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, AgensID is not liable for: what holders, recruiters or third parties do, publish, decide or fail to do; hiring or contract outcomes; the accuracy of any profile, opportunity or automated output; use of public information by others; or indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or lost data.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to AgensID is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and [100 EUR].

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or your rights under mandatory consumer and data protection law.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. For a material change we tell you in advance and ask you to accept the new version before you can publish or send opportunities again. The version you accepted and when are recorded in your account.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes go to the courts of [city], without prejudice to mandatory rules that give consumers the right to use the courts or consumer arbitration committees of their place of residence.
